My name is Tom Abate and I am a professional graphic artist. Upon graduating college with a fine art scholarship, I decided to mesh my drawing and painting skills with graphic design. The world of fine art allowed me to learn the properties of space, composition and color. It is these skills that have allowed me to be successful in all forms of graphic design.

My design experience has evolved throughout trends in marketing and communication to make my current skillset a hybrid of print and digital creative design. My specialty is being able to take a brand, give it a modern, consistent and effective look, and then produce timely design solutions in both print and digital mediums. Brochures, magazines, annual reports, corporate folders, flyers, logos, corporate identity, packaging design, website design, web banner ads, social media ads and directing/editing videos are all skills that I am well versed in. Utilizing drawing skills along with composition and color expertise has allowed me to excel in stylizing and directing photography. Being conscious of consistency and establishing brand standards is always my first duty to a company or client. Collaboration with outside vendors as well as other members of a creative team is always my desired path to success.

Other interests include playing guitar and singing in two bands, including an original band called [thirty | three] that released its debut record called Psychosomatic in 2019.
